The key to solving human rights issues in China is democracy and the rule of law. Taiwan needs to improve its system to enjoy a pure form of democratic governance so we can be a role model for mainland China and reform the Chinese communists. We must make the Chinese government yield its power to the people through constitutional reform and decentralize the government structure by instituting direct election of the heads of government branches. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
The US should serve as a model of democracy, adhering to the UN Charter and upholding the spirit of One World under One Set of Laws. It should give international law precedence over domestic law, with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people. This will lead Mexico, Syria and the Middle East to adopt human rights, constitutionalism, international law and natural law. The whole world must see itself as one family regardless of race or ethnic groups. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
The US should support Taiwan’s Charter for Permanent Peace and Development, which will lead to democratization in China. Taiwan must act to bring about constitutional reform and achieve true freedom and democracy. Doing so will set off a drive for democratization among the 1.4 billion people of China. For details see the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
Taiwan must move to bring about constitutional reform and achieve true freedom and democracy. Doing so will set off a drive for democratization among the 1.4 billion people of China. This will then spread to North Korea, and when peace is achieved on the Korean peninsula the world will be much safer for all. The world’s democratic nations must back Taiwan as a beacon for democracy for Asia which will light the path to peaceful development for China. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
The planet we live on must be accorded the benefits gained through universal human wisdom to solve problems facing all humankind. Global free trade and a commitment to bilateral alliances will help bring about peace and prosperity, and implementation of the principle of One World under One Set of Laws is one key to realizing this goal. Whether or not a nation is a member of the UN, it should strive to abide by the norms of the international community, assigning International law precedence over domestic law with direct effect on the rights and duties of the people. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
A popular seafood ingredient for sushi could become an illusory foodstuff. As long as the country consuming the largest amount of this marine species ignores restrictions, it can hardly hope to win the understanding of the global community.
All nations should work together to implement the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, also known as the Maritime Constitution. There is a great need for international standards that include liberalism, democracy, constitutionalism and cosmopolitanism as part of One World under One Set of Laws. The principles of conservation and sustainable use of marine resources and marine ecology must be followed to ensure sustainable development and environmental safety for all. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
Chinese military experts say Beijing needs to resume double-digit increases in defense spending in the coming year to meet the increasing challenges facing the nation’s military at home and abroad.
Democracies everywhere should support Taiwan's moves to carry out constitutional reform in order to achieve greater democracy and freedom. Doing so would attract the 1.4 billion people of China to call for democratization of the CCP, and the result would be real democracy around the world. Democracies should all support Taiwan as a beacon for democracy in Asia that will light China's path to peaceful development. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.
The latest revelation has highlighted the realities regarding China’s neglect of its duty to implement sanctions on North Korea, which allowed its nuclear and missile development to proceed. Countries concerned must not sit on their hands, doing nothing about a loophole in efforts to contain North Korea.
China has always advocated compliance with the UN resolution for strict sanctions against North Korea, but its slow action to cut off North Korean coal imports shows that China has clearly not been strictly enforcing the sanctions. As a "responsible major power" China should not be an enabler of North Korea’s militarism. The US, Japan and South Korea should all back Taiwan in its push to lead China to democratization, which will in turn put pressure on North Korea to democratize. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
On Tuesday German Justice Minister Heiko Maas criticized Turkey's arrest of a German journalist and said politicians who wanted to visit Germany should respect press freedoms, amid reports of a possible trip by Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.
Freedom of speech must be universal, and actions by the President of Turkey to stifle the voices of the people are like "trying to stem the flow of a river." The aim seems to be creating a monolithic society that speaks in only one voice. Turkey must carry out comprehensive constitutional reform to ensure that the media will not be confined and the government will not be allowed to monopolize Turkey’s media, the internet and all other channels of speech. Whenever you interviewed Trump supporters during last year’s election campaign, one line would come up more than any other - "It’s about time someone ran the country like a business”
The most intelligent approach for the US is to back Taiwan's model for Global Unity Constitutional Standards. This would encourage China's 1.4 billion people to seek democratization, and as a result world peace would be born. Autocracy has always been the enemy of peace, and the prerequisite for permanent peace in the world is democratization of China. Taiwan is the entity best suited to lead the Chinese people to democratization. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development / Global Unity Constitutional Standards.
