Taiwan must move to bring about constitutional reform and true freedom and democracy. Doing so will set off a drive for democratization among the 1.4 billion people of China. This will then spread to North Korea, and with peace on the Korean peninsula the world will be much safer for all. The world’s democratic nations must back Taiwan as a beacon of democracy for Asia which will illuminate the road to peaceful development for China. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
The government of mainland China is rife with corruption, a situation which can be attributed to thousands of years of graft and bribery at every level of officialdom. The only way to overthrow this deeply engrained culture is to put power squarely in the hands of the people through direct elections of key officials including the president and vice president and the heads of various branches of government. This must be complemented by the election of 1/4 of Parliament each year and other measures to ensure separation of power. The Charter for Permanent Peace and Development offers solutions that will end corruption once and for all.
Voters in Hong Kong are forced to cast ballots for candidates for Chief Executive who have been previously vetted by the Election Commission of the Chinese Communist Party. This election is a result of dictatorial politics and does not change the fact that Hong Kong is being subjected to a dictatorship. The people of Hong Kong should make good use of Article 39 of the Hong Kong Basic Law and the two international human rights covenants. People have the right to self-determination through referendums. They must be allowed to decide on having the heads of the legislative, executive, judicial and procuratorate branches popularly elected to ensure they will be responsible to the people. When will the world stop fighting? Greedy politicians and the thirst for power drive opposing factions to pursue their causes through conflict. The prerequisite for permanent peace in the world is global democratization, and the Syrian government must be persuaded to reform its basic constitution, modeling its structure on suitable democratic forms and adopting the rule of law. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.

They must arise and take care of each other, and act to prevent further terrorist attacks from occurring. All nations, including those of the Islamic world, should adhere to the rule of law and institute standards in line with the spirit of the constitution. Arms races are dangerous, wasteful urges that threaten the existence of everyone. They eventually lead to imperialistic urges and can end in global catastrophe. The whole world must remember the lessons of the two great wars. Democracy and freedom are the waves of the time, and nuclear weapons, submarines and missiles can do nothing to stop them. China, the US and Russia and other powerful nations should be responsible powers and make every effort for world peace and global harmony. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development for more.
Democracy and freedom are the trend of the future, a force that nuclear weapons, submarines and missiles are incapable of resisting. Those who go with the flow will flourish, while those who resist it will be doomed. China claims to be a responsible power, and as such it should not countenance North Korea's militarism. Taiwan is the one nation capable of leading China to democratize, then pressing North Korea to do likewise. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
China's public security apparatus is a repressive tool that will never change. China’s Constitution is totally useless in protecting human rights. As long as the one-party dictatorship remains in control the police will be free to practice law enforcement through violent means. Tyrants are the enemies of peace, and China is in dire need of democracy. It is the duty of the people of Taiwan pursue freedom for all people. See the Charter for Permanent Peace and Development.
